I am so excited to announce a new chapter for ‘Ohana Adventures. As of today, ‘Ohana Adventures is now an affiliate agent with Travelmation LLC, a Florida based travel agency. Previously working though a host agency out of Utah, I had been looking for some time to work with travel agency that checked a lot of boxes for me. I wasn’t looking for a “Disney-only” agency. I wasn’t looking for these pop-up agencies that promote side hustles. I wanted to take this to the next level, but needed the right resources to do so. We were ready to make the jump and commit to ‘Ohana full-time and needed the right partner.
And then I came across Adam Duckworth and his company, Travelmation. His story of how he got started hit a chord with me. He “changed his story”. He said “he couldn’t do it anymore” (in talking about his 1st career). He was burned out and wasn’t fulfilled. This sounded familiar. And in 2012 he left that career and he followed his joy and started this company to book travel (for Disney, for which he has a very special place in his heart), and grew it to 10 people, then 50, and today in 2024 is just shy of 1,700 agents across the US. He changed his story. I was changing my story and he was someone I wanted to know.
Travelmation LLC, is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is a member of the Travel Leaders Network President’s Circle which gives agents access to over 400 travel companies and their partners. They are an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and an Earmarked Diamond Producer; a Diamond U-Preferred agency for Universal Orlando; and they were just named the 2023 Partner of the Year by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.
